Backstage Tour

Throughout the year, the historic Alex Theatre opens its doors for free backstage public tours sponsored by Glendale Arts. This is your opportunity to see the Alex as you have never seen it before!

A volunteer guide will provide an overview of the venue's 87-year history, restoration process and current activities and programs. The guide will explain the background of the architecture, sculpture and other art objects that grace the interior and exterior. This will be a walking tour that includes climbing many stairs and each tour is limited to 30 people. For reservations, call 818-243-7700, ext. 216. This tour is not recommended for small children. Tours start at 10:00 am.
