Visiting the Alex Theatre
Assistive Services
Wheelchair and handicapped seating locations are available on the main level of the theatre. Patrons needing to take advantage of these special seating locations are asked to telephone the box office at (818) 243-7700 ext. 218 prior to the performance. Assistive Listening Devices are also available upon request. Please ask the Event Services Manager prior to the start of the event.Smoking Policy
The Alex Theatre is owned by the City of Glendale Redevelopment Agency and as such is designated as a smoke free facility under Section 8.52.010 of the Glendale Municipal Code. Smoking is prohibited inside the Alex Theatre and in the exterior forecourt, box office, vehicle parking and adjoining areas and ways. Late Seating
As a courtesy to the performers and other audience members, patrons who are not seated when the performance begins will be asked to watch the monitors in the lobby until an appropriate break in the program. When possible, latecomers may be seated by the House Manager in available seats at the back of the auditorium. For your convenience, there will be a chime reminder at ten minutes and five minutes before the auditorium doors are closed.Lost & Found
Lost and found articles will be held by the Event Services Manager until the end of the performance. After that time please contact the Event Services Manager office at (818) 243-7700, ext. 218 or via email at ksmith@alextheatre.org. Please note that articles left at the Theatre for more than 30 days will be donated to charity.Emergency Contact
