The Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards (HAPAwards) are awards for achievements in the film and music industry; the Honors awards recognize outstanding individuals whose careers have been marked by extraordinary personal and professional accomplishments. Honorees and winners are awarded the HAPA trophy. HAPAwards honors Kings, Queens, diplomats, sports figures and celebrities. This year’s Special Guest of Honor: His Majesty, King Mswati III of Eswatini and Head of the Swazi Royal Family in Continuation of the 50/50 Celebration. Also honored: Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, PhD, and former President of Nigeria. Additional Honorees: Actor Todd Bridges, Lifetime Achievement Award in Entertainment; and Photographer Lamont Mclemore (5 Dimensions). The HAPAwards are designed to promote the global blending of the cultures of Africa and the world while giving back to communities. The I Dream 4 All Foundation [501(c)3], producer of this event, will donate a portion of the proceeds to Africa and to underprivileged communities in the USA.
