The Alex Theatre has been connecting the community for 95 years.

On September 5, 2020, this landmark occasion will be celebrated by bringing people together through stories, reflections, interviews, activities, and performances.

Using online technologies and a telethon format, the virtual benefit will share the wonder and promise of the Alex Theatre with all ages, neighborhoods, and communities.

The iconic Theatre has a rich and beautiful history. It is the heartbeat of the City, binding the arts, artists, businesses, and community together. More than a building, it’s a place of community.

Proceeds from Alex95 support the historic Alex Theatre and preserve it as a world-class performing arts and entertainment center and a local treasure. While the magnitude of the battles ahead with arts funding is real, our purpose remains unchanged: to tell stories, cultivate hope, promote solidarity, and transform tragedy into reminders that good is all around us.
