Prospect House Entertainment, in partnership with Glendale Arts, presents the Malcolm McDowell Series of Q&A Screenings. Join us as we celebrate one of England’s most versatile, respected, and accomplished actors, live and in-person. The classic A Clockwork Orange (April 1st), the iconic Time After Time (April 8th), and the crowd-pleasing Star Trek: Generations (April 15th) will be screened, preceded by a Q&A session with Malcolm himself. Gary Oldman is the special guest moderator for A Clockwork Orange, Michael Dorn (Lt. Commander Worf) is the special guest moderator for Star Trek: Generations; additional celebrity moderators to be confirmed.

All guest appearances are subject to schedule conflicts.

A Clockwork Orange, based on Anthony Burgess’ disturbing novel about Britain in the totalitarian future, stars Malcolm McDowell as Alex, a Beethoven-loving, head-bashing punk who leads his gang of Droogs on ultra-violent assaults. Following his capture by the authorities, Alex is subjected to invasive behavior-modification therapy developed by the government in an effort to solve society’s crime problem – but not all goes according to plan.

This film classic was nominated for four Academy Awards in 1972, including Best Picture and Best Director for Stanley Kubrick.
