Celebrate Earth Day with LACO! Revel in the sounds of the great outdoors with performances of Ives’ Symphony No. 3 (“The Camp Meeting”) and Beethoven’s “Pastoral” Symphony No. 6, Op.68. Also on the program: a different perspective on what it means to be outside, as violist Masumi Per Rostad vividly recreates NYC’s Lower East Side in fellow NYC-native Jessie Montgomery’s, L.E.S. Characters, a LACO co-commission.
