The Jaime Martín era begins
Join Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and three-time Grammy Award-winning mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter for sweeping performances of music by Berlioz, Beethoven and a world premiere from composer Andrew Norman.
Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra launches its 2019-20 season when conductor Jaime Martín makes his historic debut as music director and leads three-time Grammy Award-winning mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter on Berlioz’s Les nuits d’été.
The concert also features the World Premiere of a new LACO commission by composer Andrew Norman and culminates in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7.
Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra’s vibrant and engaging Orchestral Series showcases the ensemble’s remarkable artistry and trademark mix of regal classics and music from today’s leading composers.
