Join Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and principal bass David Grossman for the West Coast premiere of composer and guest artist-in-residence Missy Mazzoli’s Dark with Excessive Bright for Double Bass and Strings.

Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra presents principal bass David Grossman, in a tour de force program led by music director Jaime Martín.

Grossman performs Missy Mazzoli’s Dark with Excessive Bright for Double Bass and Strings, and the concert also features an orchestration of Ravel’s Le tombeau de Couperin, Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 1, ‘Classical.’

Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra’s vibrant and engaging Orchestral Series showcases the ensemble’s remarkable artistry and trademark mix of regal classics and music from today’s leading composers.
