SAS Entertainment Partners is dedicated to the health and safety of our staff, patrons, artists, and community. For the sake of ensuring that we are doing our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 with the heightened transmission of the Delta variant, the following policies are in effect at the Alex Theatre until further notice.

Please be sure to review the specific guidelines outlined on each performance or event page in advance of purchasing your tickets.

  • All guests 12 and over attending an event at the Alex Theatre will be required to show proof of vaccination or present a negative PCR test from within 72 hours. Failure to present either proof of vaccination or a negative 72 Hour PCR test will result in non-admission to the venue.
  • While inside the theatre, masks must be worn at all times. No exceptions will be made.
  • If outside, masks may be removed briefly to consume food or drink, but must be placed back on when not consuming food or drink.
  • All guests in the party will be required to comply in order to be granted entrance into the venue. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

Congregating in public spaces presents a risk of exposure to COVID-19. This contagious disease can lead to severe illness and death.

Each person visiting the Alex Theatre voluntarily assumes all risks related to COVID-19.

The ticket purchaser is responsible for notifying each person in their party of the venue’s COVID-19 safety and general conduct policies.

The ticket purchaser acknowledges that if their ticket order includes any ADA Accessible seating they are purchasing those ADA seats because they or a member of their party requires accessible seating. The venue reserves the right to relocate, eject, or take action against individuals who fraudulently obtain ADA Accessible seating.

The following items are not permitted on the venue premises:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Outside food and beverages, including all food and beverage containers
  • Illegal or controlled substances
  • Recording or filming devices, including drones, tripods, and monopods
  • Wheeled devices, including strollers, skateboards, bicycles, motorcycles, 2-wheeled vehicles (excluding ADA mobility devices)
  • Personal bags larger than a small clutch bag, excluding medical and parental bags
  • Shopping bags, suitcases, backpacks, briefcases, or similar bags with wheels
  • Items that may cause disruption, injury, or damage, such as selfie sticks, laser pointers, remote-controlled devices, etc.
  • Animals of any kind, excluding registered service dogs
  • Balloons

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, vaping, marijuana, etc., is not permitted on the venue premises.

Ticketholder voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, including but not limited to injury caused by exposure to high decibel levels, laser and stroboscopic lighting effects, and fog, haze, and smoke effects.


Tickets are valid only for the specific performance and seats for which they are issued and are not for resale. Resale of tickets on the Alex Theatre venue premises is prohibited and any such sale may subject you to fine, imprisonment, or both under state law (Penal Code Section 346). It is unlawful to reproduce the ticket(s) in any form. Unless otherwise indicated, price includes all applicable taxes and/or cash discounts (if available). Tickets are not redeemable for cash.


Through June 30, 2022, tickets which were purchased from an official Alex Theatre point of sale [www.AlexTheatre.org, the Alex Theatre Box Office Window and Alex Theatre Phone sales] can be refunded up to two [2] hours prior to the ticketed start time of the event, and SAS Entertainment dba Alex Theatre reserves the right to grant a refund for a canceled or postponed event; any refund credit will be the full price of the returned ticket(s) minus any convenience and/or handling fees that were applied to your purchase.

In accordance with our agreements with our booking clients, SAS Entertainment Partners dba Alex Theatre is generally prohibited from issuing exchanges after a ticket has been purchased, lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.

Please safeguard your tickets; lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced. There are no refunds or exchanges for unused tickets or for tickets which were purchased through a second- or third-party point of sale.

Management reserves the right, without refund of any portion of the ticket price, to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed disorderly and/or fails to comply with house policies.

Please note that your Credit or Debit card statement will list SAS Entertainment Partners as the Merchant Name or point of purchase for your transaction.

Before purchasing tickets, carefully review your event, date, time, and seat selection.
